The Badgers set a season-high attendance on Sunday with 1.973 fans in the complex to witness Melanie Cross hit a sixth-inning two-run homer to win the game over Purdue, 4-3.

Freshman and Wisconsin native Haley Hestekin had a great showing over the weekend, picking up her 11th and 12th wins on the season. Freshman phenom Haley Hestekin allowed just two hits in the Badgers' win while striking out a career-high seven batters. She had a no-hitter going until the top of the seventh inning.
